Often. He just ask" how's our retirement, I tell him amount abd he just said wow, really". He doesn't even fill or complete any kind of paperwork forms. He makes it up on other ways like bringing home the big $$$ and putting up with my reef hobby

Nice. I can only brag I’m a millennial with that golden 2.75% mortgage rate. Beyond that $50 per kid for college saving a month. Spending. We could do better but only debt is car and mortgages. Student loan I paid off 7 years ago. Thank god for that.

I was lucky, went to school and stay at home. Great parents to worked and paid. No college debt. House is at 3.75 interest. I can pay it off now if I want by selling Nvidia stocks but the capital gains tax is more than the interest. We paid cash when we bought our cars and plan on doing that with the next car

Same. No house payment and no car payments, for now. I do accounting for my job among many other things so that pays off.

Gotta love mortgages with those rates; no longer makes sense to throw extra money at your house. I remember it used to be that one extra payment a year meant 6years off the life of the loan- you’re crazy to throw it at your house…. even a bond yields more.

What if you put that 15k into a bond that yields 5% and increase your income by 1.25%? - then you can pay the same amount towards the principal and take the crème
