Mine was happy, mpved it. Never happy again and died.

Its very straightforward. You dont dim a PSUs input voltage when the PSU has an output 0-10v dimmer on it. Theres a $30 bluetooth controller available. I think you could dim input voltage with a PWM dimmer.

Somewhat kidding. It’s fine. I’ll just utilize it as a heavy duty programmed on off switch. The controller I can live without. Automated is my only surefire bet of not screwing the pooch.

You could return it and just get the kasa smart strip. I use it to schedule my ATO to prevent floods, among a hundred other nice to haves. Think its $40, but youll have 6 switches opposed to just one.

True, however I could use it somewhere on holidays and just use it temporarily. Either way solid product.

From the helix light god himself:

IMG_1002.png

So long story short. Doesn’t know his controller, it won’t work well utilizing the dimmer - but could work but could fry the light too. More than likely fine utilized as an on off timer switch.
I don't understand what you are saying. Luca replied that the item you asked him about would not work with the light as his light is dimmable via a 0 to 10v output from a controller. What you sent him is not that. He then went on to tell you that you can manually dim the light with the included knob on the unit (if not using a 0 to 10v controller output) to adjust brightness to your specific need/color choice.

Not sure where you read "could work but could fry the light" in his response.

The Quanta bars are not dimmable. The Helix is using the proper controller or via manual know. Were you looking for the light to ramp up or are you just looking for something to turn them on and off?
