Those of you who have tried AF salt, are you satisfied with it?

Yes. The only thing that the salt doesnt have is fluoride which is fine because i dose that.

Af is pretty low on a lot of trace elements but dosing is still needed for any salt. It's cheap...alk is right...cal is good and mixes clean

Yes. But...being that I'm going to limited water changes (cleaning sand) of 10-15 gallons or so I'm going to go back to blue bucket or possibly nyos

Yes I just saw on BRS, regular AF sea salt, but again if your already dosing it should be fine. Or so I've read...

I use reef crystals right now but there's a lot of people that use instant ocean, I thought about switching but the AF is cheaper right now.

I can't believe a year ago I was buying RC for $25 a bucket or less. Prices have tripled.

I'm very fortunate. Know a guy who does tank maintenance, he brings me a couple bags of salt, I give him a couple corals. Even trade

I am, though I switched back to Tropic Marin Pro. I use a bucket of AF for my phyto cultures though since it is cleaner and same price as reef crystals.

I use both salt af reef and af123. Brought florine levels up and have ph 8.1 to 8.3 around 8.5 dkh and am doing great. Going to send icp tommorrow.
