Morning everyone. Go Niners

Good morning all you beautiful people! Just a few hours until I get to watch the Chiefs win!

P.s. I really hope a certain someone won't make the game so we don't have to see the cameras pan to them every 5 minutes...

If they do, hopefully the people that make decisions, decide to just focus on the game...

Do you both have BigR? I think WD is one of those corals where people sometimes just call it by a trade name even though there is no lineage to the original. Reefing pet peeve of mine.
Not talking about you guys but maybe where you bought it from.
I usually just say walt disney because mine didn't have a good lineage, i have three pieces from three sources but i think they are all the same. probably BigR because its a very distinctive coral, but i don't feel right selling it as BigR because when i got it they didn't have the right lineage. one i bought as a "jason fox" walt disney lol, and the other was from cornbred and he was selling it under a different name but AKA walt disney, I supose he thought he could sell if for more if he rebranded it as his? this was a long time ago. I think the third piece i have is actually a BigR "lineaged" piece. its the smallest though and hasn't really grown out much. they all look the same

Thank you for the help.

Eventually they will host. Took mine 3 or 4 months and all the sudden one night they did.

Mine kept splitting, was bassically a $20 bill printer for my LFS but then i had one get loose off its island and i ditched em. Youll get it eventually, especially if ya keep ****** eeem off. I used a credit card and worked the foot loose finally.
Unfortunately it has been over 6 months and no love from the clowns.

My fear it that I annoy it enough to get it to move and it will walk right over to powerhead.
Have you try the ice method
Yes. Tried ice cubes (melted too fast), then frozen spoons and then rodi in ziplock bags. I can't get to the foot so it retreats instead of releasing.

On clowns and hosting. I have a bonded pair of snowflake clowns. Never have tried to host anything. But now they seem to be always around the new indophyllia meat coral we have, almost as if they're thinking about hosting it lol. Saw the male swimming down and into it once or twice now.

I really thought they'd like the torches but no luck. Same with our cinnamon clown, but it doesn't host anything at or even look like it wants to lol.

Can you take out the rock and turn it upside down in a bucket of tank water and try to gently pry off the foot with a card or something

Why does everyone infer that clowns host anemones or anything else for that matter? Lol. Although..it would be hilarious to see a clown with an anemone on its back.
