I think the dust is nontoxic, but I'd try to seal my tank off. Maybe get one of those sanding attachments that go on your shop vac.
I think it depends how old it is. I think some types of old drywall had asbestos. But I guess the tank won’t care about that

I was always posting "free GSP" with coral purchase. Would give em monti caps also. Brought the noobs in and got rid of stuff I would normally throw out.
I used to throw an entire cup of it out every month. I eventually took a massive rock of gsp, and a entry level tier rock of zoas up and traded for a 5 head or so hammer. Everytime i take coral up i try to snag a little plug of decent zoas. A mid tier rock filled an assortment of quality zoas be worth some serious store credit lol.

Asbestos is bestos. After 80 youre pretty safe. 78 was ban but inventory was allowed to be used up. If you look at old 1950s newspaper every component of the house had asbestos. If youre not working in an asbestos mine its non-issue IMO.

Most stores around here are pretty stingy and want to give pennies on the dollar, but better than throwing away. Can usually talk em into some pretty reasonable trades.
Thats if they have anything I want. Pretty rare. What I want doesn't sell for them consistently.

So my @SBB Corals blue tip indo hammer I picked up and named Casper the hammer. I think is actually, Casper the torch... Lol

So I moved him to the torch rock, awaiting his friends from this sale. It's coloring up very nicely.

Still not exactly sure, but I think it's a torch lol. Blue tip, and looking at getting pretty bright.

When we got in January this year
