Well after being away from home for a week and leaving the tank to to my wife. Everything's looking good. Now to do a little tank cleaning/ water change before I go back on the road for next week.

Do you guys have biological filtration in your sumps or just rely on live rock? I'm looking at marine pure but the leaching worries me

get maxspect, or icecap bio media. not as susceptible to crumbling like the marinepure stuff.

I think this might be the last sale I do for awhile. Wife and I are still hoping, wanting to move this summer, and I still need to figure out how I'm gonna move the different tanks.

Im the exact opposite 2 reefmat 500 to each overflow and skimmer on 3/5 setting. no carbon , no uv, no gfo

I already got a 55 sitting in my garage that needs to be revealed and drilled. Hope to set it up and have it plumped up to 35, with 1 big sump for both. But I can't plan that all out till my wife finds a job and we found a house big enough for us, (2) 80lbs dogs, (1) 60 gal turtle tank, and my reef tanks.

I would advise running some carbon every now a then for a couple days as a precaution/preventative

yeah, i don't have any of that other stuff on my main frag system either, would only add it if there was a need

I thought about it but every time i do it lowers my phosphate to much.
