Which phyto is Nannochloropsis, left or right?

I think my Rhodamonas culture got cross contaminated with Nanno which took over. The right one came from my red Rhodamonas culture, the left is my Nanno. I'm real careful about it too, which is why I mentioned to you @ros3to to be careful to not even get a cell of Nanno in other cultures since it will take over as the dominant strain.

I'll have to buy another set of red Rhodamonas to continue culturing for you @steveschuerger .

I’ll be up for another batch of phyto next week. Doesn’t have to be rhodamonas. I’ve had the nanno before and that’d be fine.

I put a fan blowing across the top of the tank last saturday to cool it down since temp was getting high from the garage. I wonder since the racks are close to the top of that had anything to do with it

Yep also be careful not to get a rotifer or copepod in there. Did that when I had them set up to close to each other.

No water reacts as battery. Should be same temp throughout as long as water is flowing
