some magnets are fully enclosed and can be submerged. others aren't.

i know the eshopps frag racks are able to be submerged. no idea about the rest.

i also thought about doing it myself but didn't want to chance it with the reefing art one i have.

most frag racks and the inside-tank-magnet are enclosed. just not the outside magnet. this is the one you have to make sure is enclosed either in silicone or something much more...secure?

How did you do the rack on the overflow.

I put the magnet inside the box on opposite side. Because it’s a peninsula I wasn’t sure the best place. This works for me

These are Fiji Cube brand. Magnets submerge. They make different sizes. I have two racks from Stoney as well that have the suctions

HELP PLZ, just got my k7mini, I have 1 rock flower nem, a zoa, around 5 acros, frogspawn, a Goni and Monti. if u looking for more info, check tank thread. Just need lighting settings, the colors are white, blue and a violet, they go up to 100%, and do I need a sunrise and sunset type thing?

They are enclosed but I take an extra step in sealing them like the internal magnets in ABS. Which adds to the cost, time, and has a very slight decrease in the strength.

Using them in an overflow, it's much thinner so strength shouldn't be an issue.

I can make a few if you need them.

My 65 doesn't have any more room for racks. and I have plenty of space in my 180g for normal racks. I'm just thinking out loud. Thanks
