if you see any colors you don't already have in your tank, go for those. if on the website they seem colored down/"mystery" - go with your gut, or see if anyone has a frag/colony of what you're looking for.

i used to be one of those "name" guys. now i just look for color or growth pattern. or the more important one; stays alive in my tank

I gave up on the name thing almost immediately. I have friends who come over and they can’t tell the difference between a torch and bubble tip.

I call something a “purple people eater” and they go…but it’s like yellow tips and green hairs? It’s easier to say I have a pink one and a blue one and this one has lots of little hairs!
