You sure you're not just trying to cover for @steveschuerger and his cat?Well my wife hit my brand new car this am . Less than a year and a half old and she's taken the front end and now the whole driver's side. I can't belive I'm so calm. That's after I buffed it.
It's not too bad. If you want to save some money and not go to a body shop there may be a good mobile recon paint company in your area that does side jobs or "customer" jobs. I did mobile paint recon for dealerships for a few years and the kicker is we painted things like that in their parking lots. It sounds crazy but we were a fraction of the body shop price and I must say, many times it looked better. Anyhoo..just a thought to save some quicheWell my wife hit my brand new car this am . Wish shane had a sale today. A big Mushroom would help emensely. @SBB Corals pics....Can't loose today
Nope one about all the crap in do wrong....naritive changing...in reality. Today I her did wrong crap day...and why it has to be my **** she wrecks. So therapy session is how she accidentally hit your car? Lol. Well...side note..you could call the dealership parts department and give them thr last 6-8 of your VIN and they can get you some touch up. Sometimes they have brushes within the bottle..otherwise you could grab some model paint brushes. The paint code is on the inside of the driver door jamb on a label/sticker...names don't matter...just the code
Does it matter if it's layered lol. It said that on my last body slipActually it's vw...either under hood or in trunk most likely. Either way....parts department and Vin is your solution.
Lol...the hostility saved for a mediated environment....classic!Nope one about all the crap in do wrong....naritive changing...in reality. Today I her did wrong crap day...and why it has to be my **** she wrecks.
Only if it's a 3 stage pearl...in that case...it won't match great but it's better than a white or silver spot that rustsDoes it matter if it's layered lol. It said that on my last body slip
If you haven’t already, tag @SBB Corals and say hi.Thanks for sharing i can't wait for this sale!!!!!
That's what it is lol.Only if it's a 3 stage pearl...in that case...it won't match great but it's better than a white or silver spot that rusts
Sorry man that sucks.Well my wife hit my brand new car this am . Less than a year and a half old and she's taken the front end and now the whole driver's side. I can't belive I'm so calm. That's after I buffed it.
Magic eraser worked great to get the other paint off.Multiple coats are better than trying to dab a huge glob on there. And if there's any "transfer" paint from her car...a paper towel or micro fiber with lacquer thinner will rub it off. Won't hurt but will need a good wipe with a wax or whatever where you thinned it.
It's probably a blue metallic flake...not actually pearl...in which case..its a 2 coat. The coat/stage # includes the addition of clear for the last coat. I.e. pearl is paint, then pearl coat over that in varying degrees, then clear. 2 coat is paint then clearThat's what it is lol.
