I get an occasional aptasia that I immediately excised from the tank . A bubble algae every now and then too that immediately gets scrubbed off frag plug washed and put back into tank.
So if one happens to get through to your DT do you remove and scrape off? How long do you wait before putting back in the DT?

I've had mixed results with Pepermints so I'm hoping these will help. I'm thinking since theres going to be a tank move soon I'm going to scrape them off when I transfer. They are like STD of reefs..
Better to chip them out

If aptasia I remove aptasia. No scrape .Chip it off or out. Bubble algaebi brush off and wash in separate container. Monitor for more. Usually none...bubble algae is easy as long as it is contained...not floating around tank.

I tried everything before. Inject boiling water, aiptaisa x, lime juice, glue, kalk paste. They just come back more. Then eradicate them with nudis and peppermint. Die suckers, die

Nudis were my end solution years ago. Not its careful monitoring

How different care wise are these compared to a standard acropora?
Have no idea. I put it right in middle of tank near the top. Kessil a360x with quanta pro meso blue. Dose kz1234, af salt, 7.8 alk., low no3 and po4. At least 350 par. I have never measured par but I know it's no less than 350 since it's next to my wd
