I dont know honestly. I could probably ask the seller. She was fully healed from the looks of it.I can't say that I've seen that specifically. How long since it split? Not uncommon for splits to walk away from each other.

While i'm not lost, 1lb of live rock per gallon is not needed. I would go 1-5lbs per 20g and the rest dead rock. You just need it to seed the rest of the rock. 5lbs is really more for the looks. It's very nice if you get the premium stuff.bones?
Unrelated, would love to have a convo about some aquascaping suggestions especially as it relates to live rock! I know last time I did this I ordered about a lb of rock for each gal of my tank, is that still the same assumption? I would really like to get a nice design with tons of hiding spots etc but with live rock I assume I will have to just work on it in the garage with some salt water next to me, dip the rock every few minutes as I work on it to not lose the stuff on the rock?
I know you told me to come over to your thread yesterday I assume that is here if not I apologize for putting it in the wrong spot!
I filleted them outside of the bone line so all of the meat you see there, is boneless.bones?

The Only reason I would go dead rock primary and LR to seed a brand new setup, is to save money on base rock that isn't seen. Already having 200lb of long Live rock, I used Marco as the very base and back of my scapes. Live rock is a commodity and a good investment IMO.While i'm not lost, 1lb of live rock per gallon is not needed. I would go 1-5lbs per 20g and the rest dead rock. I gather this much, which is why I said what I did. The live rock on the bottom, it will have a lot of die off from being buried. Best to use dead rock for the bottom. Live on the top.@vittpsu21 is just getting back into Reefing after many years away.
