I looked up Spectrapure online. Do you know which model that you have? Is it

LM-UPLC-ATO-G7 or LM-APM-G7?​

Was the power cord long enough to run down to your basement? Did you have to splice it or do anything special to make it reach?

Apologies for the late reply. I have the LM-UPLC-ATO-G7 model. It looks as though its gone up in price considerably since I bought it in 2020. Either way, it's superb.

The pump mounted inside my cabinet and then I ran 1/4" tubing all the way to the basement, approx 30 ft of it. It made a small noise when drawing water but nothing bothersome. You can hear when it's running though. But again, nothing that is intrusive or very loud - almost like a whirring noise. In the 3 years I had it running it never skipped a beat. Not even once.
