I've been really eyeing my tank recently, thinking about what I would need to do to safely house a Ribbon eel..

I've built caves/tunnels into my rockwork at literally every stage.

I may be willing to downstack the far right euphyllia bommie to inlay PVC if it was a necessity. My 40b qt is going to be empty for a while. Going to pause on starting another cycle.

I've got the room. The desire. I think it would be a value add, especially watching it swim the length of the tank.

Ribbons can curl up in a ball. Im not kidding you. They'll use everything they can to protect themselves.

A nice cozy cave works great.

Edit: you don't have to add pvc, it just kind of works well for them.

Yes. Its perfect. Pvc would be an eye sore.

If you do decide on a ribbon. Hypo is the best route vs copper.
