Quite possibly the most expensive fish in the world

Hi all,

I'm just wondering how much is too much for one of our fishy friends? , I have been looking through the net with what started as a search for a wrasse and some anthia's, but inevitably it ends up at the tangs and angels with all there beautiful colours and big size to see them easy.....but then wait how much?

I think I may have found some of the most expensive fish and so this thread is for you if your partner is a bit finicky when you spend 100 pounds or dollars on a fish, check out these beauty's and then let me know if you have seen any more expensive fish and then we can show this thread to our partners everytime we deem it to be necessary

I’ve removed any of the advertising from the website as I wouldn't want to breach any rules from anywhere........but hey if you're interested in these beauty's I can point you towards where I found them.

Pretty sure I have seen peppermint angels for around $25K USD. Not sure what that is in pounds, but it's way over the ones you have posted.

I'm guessing the people that buy those have the money so it is no different to them than us losing a flame angel. Not sure if it is still the case, but most of the really rare/expensive stuff used to never makes it to the US or Europe.

I haven't seen a peppermint angel for sale in years, thou I don't go looking for rare fish. Most people aren't willing to put their life at risk to catch a few fish.

That is very expensive but consider the price of certain giant tuna. Of course, the giant tuna is going to yield a mulit-tiered profit but the price !!! for the whole fish is unfathomable.

An LFS near me has a yurple for 7500 right now!

Sugar with a capital s I just had an email from a LFS in Birmingham near me in Coventry {UK) selling those for £75, wowzers if we could only find a way to buy and ups then over to you at half their price we would make a kind of huge pile of money as Mr Simpson says it best doh
