Make sure you don’t have any fish that even potentially nip at corals. I had a gorgeous coral beauty in an sps tank for years and never had good PE. he died randomly one day and I had amazing PE after that. Never saw him pick at anything, but clearly he did enough to not ever let the polyps fully open. Same goes for blennies and other reef safe fish.
Added Red Sea ab+ and the polyps immediately show feeding response
Just hope it don’t mess up my nutrients but will check them tomorrow and see cos at the moment they’re solid at .17 and 15
That is really strange as I don't know why the AB+ would have any impact on that in such a short term.
I found this thread as have never had polyp extension, but everything grows as it should. I was almost wondering if too much flow across the entire tank was maybe the cause.
Also I have never been a heavy coral feeder but have been trying lately to get some sort of response.
