The best thing you can do is look at pictures of reef tanks the same size as your tank. Make a note of the ones you like the looks of and follow their build threads. See how they do things. Research your heart out. Any components they use that you don’t understand research them. Especially when it comes to animal care, research, research, research.

You also have the #Cronies in this thread who are more than willing to help you. Heck I research things constantly and I STILL need help sometimes. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I spent too long being anxious about asking questions for a number of reasons but everyone in this thread is top notch and they’ve been there for me.
