I was thinking about lowering my temp a smidge.

But maybe not?

So over the last 24hours the low on my tank was 25.1 (77.18) with the high at 25.7 (78.26) tank temp is set at 25.6 (78.08)

Thats pretty good. Idealy, some coral do best in warmer temps. Most do better in cooler temps
There's so much written on thst though. Cooler temps =slower growth and lower trates from one place i read. Cooler tempts were supposed to offer better colors. Never worked for me.

Higher temps, i achieved better color, feeding response, better growth. Fish didn't care. But yes. Higher temps did effect nitrate levels. That might be the feeding increased though.

The Dino’s I had were the kind that did NOT go into the water column.

I dosed nitrates and phosphates and then siphoned the sand during the day into a 5 micron filter - did that twice. In maybe 3 weeks Dino’s back to being in check!

Interesting. But how would the fish and stuff like the heat.

I’ve also read to increase oxygen. Which I kinda did, as the skimmer was overflowing and teeny tiny bubbles have been all in the tank lol.
