I would say your waisting your time. My daughters would say prop the screen right against the glass. You may be better off listening to them...lol.

I get the BTAs, but I am shocked they have not gone into the Magnifica. I think since they had a spot before you added it, shaking them up a bit as @SkiCatTX said may help. Put them in an acclimation box for a couple of days, or rearrange some of the rockwork perhaps.

I just took mine down last night. The clowns moved to the other side of the tank. I guess they don’t like the videos!

I thought they would dive right in as well. Their “corner spot” is literally inches away from the Magnifica.

I like the idea of putting them in the acclimation box for a while and reintroducing.

I may even try “Melev’s tube” to reintroduce.

I think I will try to catch them Saturday morning.

I have great respect for Melev and have learned a lot from him. I never liked the tube idea though. Dropping fish into a venomous creature seems dicey. I have watched clowns acclimate to an anemone and it can often be a slow process. When I had a Clarkii / Magnifica the Clarkii went in very slow, tail first and repeatedly stung himself a little more each time until he was finally nuzzling it.

I agree plopping them in would not be nice to do. The video I saw had the tube right at the nem. Perhaps I could hover the tube over the nem and give the clown a choice?

Am I being desperate here?

I’m all for trying things and learning.

And if it don’t work, maybe I will try more clowns!

I've given up on my davinci and snowflake hosting my bta. They sleep 10 inches away instead.

Been contemplating a porcelain crab to keep the nem company. We'll see

My porcelain crab is on of my favorite inverts. Always visible. I’m going to get an anemone shrimp that I will introduce to the LTA and I’m still trying to find out if sexy shrimp will live in a RFA.
