As expected, @cromag27 at Octo Aquatics is sending me out a new frag rack.

Matt is a class act and I recommend his products to everyone.

I currently have an adjustable skimmer stand, heater holder, veggie clip, and frag rack from Matt.

Next will be a lid, but I gotta save up for that one!

Nice pieces. :)

Thank you.

I waited a bit over a year to add sps.

I have to believe if my nems and clam are growing, then I should be able to keep sps.

I will just be careful to acclimate to the lighting slowly.......

Any advice would be welcome from the master!

Can you remember what that ‘green’ coral is Mike ?

It’s one of the first corals I purchased and it’s gone from bright green, to brown, to white to green...... it’s like a barometer of my water conditions especially magnesium levels so I could do with knowing what it likes for once! Lol

And great pictures so keep them coming

Montipora Spongodes!

I love the look of them and the growth pattern randomness!
Perfect Mike!

They do look very nice, well apart from mine has gone brown/white ‘again’

I’ve fragged it many times, or accidentally snapped pieces off I should say

Hello everyone.

First I gotta say I am so busy this year and wish I had more time for hangin out on R2R.

Work is going gang busters and we are busy and growing.

Sadly I’m at the airport heading to Ohio for a funeral.

My good friend and just retired President of Huffy Bikes passed away. I worked with him for over 23 years.

I’m going to miss him greatly

I’ve had cyano crop up over the last couple weeks.

I’ve cut back on NoPox to 5 ml per day and have serious flow across all affected areas.

I’m wondering if I got too low on nutrients?

I did a full sand bed cleaning and vacuuming yesterday and it was back again today.

Today’s test results are:

Alk 7.8
NO3 4
PO4 .02

I’m not worried about it, I just don’t like it!

All recently added corals including my 1st SPS are doing great. I’ll post up some pics when I return.

Back from vacation. Immediately did a chemiclean treatment. Cyano was ridiculous!

I have used it many times and am always super pleased with the end results.

I do only use it when I know it’s not a flow or nutrient issue.
