So, should I look into an auto doser? Would that be a good thing to have?

Someone mentioned all for reef to dose, but that seems pricy. Thoughts?

Halp lol.
AFR is good, and if you buy the “powdered” version the price isn’t bad( there is also a diy recipe floating around that is slightly cheaper), but it shouldn’t be used to adjust your levels, instead it should be used in conjunction with a 2 part to maintain your alk and calc levels. AFR is more about replacing trace elements in your system. I use AFR and Tropic Marin Balling part A and B together on my tank.

it need to stay stirring?
nope. can just mix it up in a big container (ideally with a lid) and dose from that.
Before I made the ParlaStir, I premixed a bunch of gallon jugs. was thinking about getting a second Brute can for my Kalk even.

ya, once you get a saturated solution, its best to leave it alone and not over-stir it because it looses efficacy. Only reason the ParlaStir keeps stirring is because fresh RODI keeps getting fed into it.

I’m thinking of upgrading the wavemakers to some mp10s instead of the ones I’m currently using.

Someone on a fb page has a couple used for a few months and so I may work towards getting those, maybe just one at a time.

I really like how there’s no cords inside,
And that will be super helpful for when I do finally get a lid for the tank I won’t have to worry about cord cutouts. Will be super useful cause I still don’t know if the spot the ones I’m using, are good spots XD.

I've had mixed luck with used MP10s and knocking. They're not as easy to replace bearings as MP40s so when they're done they're done. I'm addicted to their WXM Apex interface otherwise I woulda gone Jerepet long ago.

Some absolutely horrifying shots in the reef

Zoas. Still no idea what they are lol. Other than super cool.

The spots on top of the rock have me perplexed. Idk if it’s part of the Duncan that was close or if it’s something else.

The Duncan. Small things in it too. Idk if it’s new parts to it or way. And yeah I think it looks horrible. :(

Is that the only LPS you have in your tank?

I have a Kenya tree and some GSP.
Both of those are soft corals. Was the Duncan ever doing well? I ask because I wonder if it came in with a LPS pest like euphoria eating flatworms. That or it was irritated from the leather and hasn’t been able to bounce back. Those are just my thoughts.

On the Supporter monthly giveaways they have a Acclimation Box. I'm considering using one as an in-tank Betta tank when I set up my next freshwater tank.

It did ok for a bit. I actually had it over away from the toady for a bit but the fish were knocking it off the rock. I don’t know how to get it off the plug it’s on so I just found the only spot on the rock it could sit without being knocked down. Let me hunt pics…

These were right after bringing it home.
