Sometimes I seriously miss having a heavily planted betta tank
I keep coming back to them. Once I got into the wilds I stopped breeding and showing, but something about those fins. All three of the fancy ones I currently own are plakats but I’d love to find a beautiful flowy fellow again some day. I miss my Mohan fish (he’s a breeder with some gorgeous fish)

I like the plakats the most, usually.

We actually got a beautiful black samurai plakat in recently and I almost caved.

My FIL is getting bored w/ his 37 freshwater and thinking about giving it away and I came SO CLOSE to saying I'd take it and buying that beautiful betta

I need to one of those. I have two other brands and neither one works very well . Or maybe it’s the iPhone’s that makes it not work well?

Yeah, I think it’s the iPhone :confused-face: guess I can’t take good pictures anymore unless I get out my old DSLR camera.

My iPhone stinks at taking pictures even with Orphek lenses. The only good shots I get are with my old Canon.

Alrighty. So last night I moved the Duncan into the sand bed. Still in the frag plug cause I don’t know how to get it off lol.

Anywho, soon as lights popped in this am I took a few pics. So it’s still closed. But like I mentioned the other day(I forgot where, lol) I’ve noticed that part of it is a darker color. I believe the light part is still kinda squishy but I’m scared of hurting corals so don’t like to touch them hah. The darker part is definitely more rigid though. If only slight.

Anyhow, pics. Think it’ll recover? I had no idea the toadstool would harm it, the lrs never mentioned they couldn’t be close. My mistake. I hope I can save it. A couple pics of it from the front showing the line and one slightly atop.

Also Selma and Sideshow Bob wanted their pic taken too.

Duncan looks to be in bad shape, but are hearty and can make a comeback most of the time... :)
That’s good! Anything special I should do for it? The flows there but not torrential and it’s all by itself.

Been paying more attention to the other thread, that I’ve not posted in my own lol.

Got some amazing paints to try out for some reef/ glow art, brushes to do it with AND a wet pallet so my paints won’t dry as fast. One of the drawbacks of nerve issues is I can’t paint as speedy as acrylics need causing me to waste paints. This should negate a lot of that.

Also, Toph was sent this amazing light, and I got the best looking towel! Looks just like Fission so he will always be close by. It’s hanging up beside his old home/ Cedars new home.

The Reef has a better scraper, and I can take some better pics as well :)

Thank you guys, you Cronies are the best.

Some of these pics may be repeats but I’ve got the flu or something so can’t remember when or where they were posted.

Picspam of some of the fish.

First up is Atlas, and his loaner lady. Today is day two of him holding. That’s a big deal as he usually swallows a few hours later. Here’s a pic of his girl and then a couple of them spawning. You can see his buccal pouch is quite full. Hoping for some macs❤️

Reef tank spam, the flaming Borthole, Duncan, and a couple of the fishes. The dottyback is a real clown. She likes to dump mouthfuls of sand on the goby lol.

And that’s it. I really needed to do stuff this weekend but this craps kicking my butt.

I started my steroids today and the Med that’s supposed to help with coughing doesn’t last quite as long as it should.
