I think it’s 5, lol. I was reading the wrong one I guess but that’s still too low right?

This just mentions testing either 5ml or 10ml but nothing about another vial of solution.

Testing the params today. My alk shows with the kit about 1.5dKH. I think this is wrong? I’ll test again. Ph is 7.6. Nitrates show still really high, between the 20 and 50 on the color chart.

From here, waterchange to lower the nitrates and hopefully boost that alk. Looks like that’s my day haha.
What is your salinity?

I don't think alkalinity can be that low unless you have really high acidity? What's your pH?

You have to subtract the amount left from 1 to give you the amount of titration used
It's not a typical titration test. It looks/sounds more like a calcium test.

Yeah I thought the same thing but it stated kh.

Salinity is 35, ph is 7.6 also I was reading it wrong with the first numbers. It’s not 2.5, it’s 5. Still low though.

I’m probably doing it wrong. I’d ask the local shop to recheck but they don’t do that for people.

I really like the salifert test. You read the amount left in syringe

5 drops to get you to 5 dKH is not very accurate. I agree with everyone else - Salifert is much more accurate, Hanna is easier.

Just a little more water or a little less can make a huge difference.

I can’t do the salifert, because of my hands. Yeah not very accurate. I’ll just sell some art and work on the Hannah lol. I want a set anyhow eventually
