Goals for the week:
1. Check new lid on the new tank
2. Order parts for light mounting and bracing (it's time, make a decision already!)
3. Get large acrylic sheet
4. Decide what to do about eurobrace...
5. Kill aiptasia
6. Test parameters
Good news! My Splendid pencil wrasse came out today TWICE. I came in, turned on the lights and he didn't immediately bolt to the sand. He did, eventually, but gave me a few looks first. Later he came out and hung about for a bit picking on rocks. I managed to get some PacPods dumped into the tank while he wasn't looking and he perked up and started eating. ROE (success) and beta brine (failure) next. Then, I slipped out very slowly and thawed some frozen mysis. Managed to get back into my desk without scaring him to the sand. Dumped in some mysis and he ate vigorously. Feel sorry for the old boy. He's so thin, now, and he used to be so very fat. Hopefully he comes around and doesn't freak out as often. Yellow chrysus gave him a bit of a run at one point, but no nasty aggression so far. Will be better in the 4ft tank, for sure.

Works OK for me, too, but I find it's basically the same as Kalk paste, so I've switched to just using kalk paste. I am going to try something different this week though. I'm going to talk the kalk powder and reconstitute it in drops of PhytoFeast. Maybe they ingest it and DIE DIE DIE

Uff, one that is very much used up. I use the RODI buddy. I have two TDS meters. One is reading 2ppm and the other 0ppm, so I'ma call that a win.

Same. I installed the booster buddy about 6 months ago. Have been using spectrapure max cap di cartridges, but don't want to spend $127 on new filters/di cartridges right now. So was just curious what everyone else is using. I am at 1 tds out the final stage of my di, so it is time to replace it.

Time to start thinking about it!
In actuality, I think I need to replace soon. Some GHA has sprung up where there never was any previously. Could be a contributing factor.
