Try to knock them out asap. When they take off, they become very difficult to contain.I noticed some aptasia on my Magician frag plug...not excited about it!
Will dips like revive kill them?Try to knock them out asap. When they take off, they become very difficult to contain.

I find plenty of debris in both overflows, so I don't think it hinders anything. I also have the gyre set for forward and reverse flow, so it doesn't always go one direction or constant speed.Beautiful build! I am pretty new to saltwater tanks but I had a question about your original setup. Would the position of the gyre right next to an overflow cause all of the debris to be forced to the other overflow? Would that hinder you in any way? I am considering doing the same thing in my first build but my brain trying to work the physics behind it is holding me back lol
Thank you! That makes me feel a lot better about my build.I find plenty of debris in both overflows, so I don't think it hinders anything. I also have the gyre set for forward and reverse flow, so it doesn't always go one direction or constant speed.
Welcome to the office!
That's why I'm hesitant, but at this point, major intervention is necessary. They're growing in completely inaccessible places. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯If you get the right species of peppermint they are great. If you get the wrong though they may eat euphylia
That's not great.. Where's next best place?the bristleworm eating aip, is bigger and taller now...
S bottom 50% survival rate, didn't bother to let them know, then they sent me an email "how was your order?"
about a week later, I told them what happened ,no response...
ReefCleaners is in a bit of a transition at the moment, moving shop and dealing with a hurricane. Also, John is out of peppermints so much so that they delisted them and put them in their out of season pages. My local Petco worries me... Reeftopia looks like they are up and running but no peppermints. Looks like I may be giving Saltybottom a chance!I've always had good luck with my local Petco Peppermint Shrimp. And Reef Cleaners.
That doesn't bode well... I might get about 10 and hope that some of them pan out.I saw the group buy at SCR but I'm getting ready for a tank/rock breakdown to catch all my fish for QT. So I've got my hands full. And I'm really not trying to add new livestock at the moment. My 3 peps that I put in a few weeks ago has done ZERO to my aiptasia population as far as I can tell.
And you can't do Berghia because od wrasses right? That doesn't bode well... I might get about 10 and hope that some of them pan out.
