The way I see it the corals are a lot cheaper with the battle box and if you don't get the pieces you really want it's a reason to keep buying more battle boxes.

I just went back and saw it. I'll tell my wife and probably order tomorrow. I'm only getting something fairly small, I'll probably just get a $400 box.

A really sweet mix of sps that if you had bought individually on the site would have cost much more than $1k

Honestly it's hard to put a dollar value on most boxes because you'll often get pieces not listed on the site for sale individually. However IMO it seems like if you were trying to put a dollar value to it he adds corals that if bought individually would've cost somewhere around twice the price of the box. Again just from my limited experience.

I'm envious, I wish I had the space to buy a bigger more expensive box. Plus at some point I do need to slow down on how much aquarium stuff I'm buying.
I swear apex gear is just as addicting as corals.

Haha I finally got an Apex. A month later I sold it at a loss. Maybe I am too old and set in my ways I just really wanted to go back to all my old ways.
