All pics of my own so far. I'm running low though I think there's only a couple BC colonies left to post. I do enjoy the stupid memes too though.
Again beautiful corals. I can't wait for some of mine to grow into colonies. The only SPS that I have and would consider colonies are birdsnest and montipora.
I guess I could post some pictures of some of my non BC corals. Although they're not nearly as nice as what you've posted. I've only had any of my SPS corals for about a year at the most.

All I’m going to say is these things are very bright and give that pop when it’s just blues that you see online

I'm getting ready to swap out my viparspectra lights with some of the new Noopsyche lights. Hopefully this evening if I can find time while taking care of the family.

I do miss metal halides. They produce too much heat though.

I’ve never had a heat problem. My temp raises maybe 2 degrees up to 80 and that was when we were hitting mid 90s in the summer. I think part is not having them enclosed in a canopy

Mine was a 400watt metal halide in an enclosed hood, which is why I probably had heat issues. It was probably too close to the water as well honestly. It's been over 15 years since I've used metal halides.
