This procedure is looking promising!, so
I have had my trident NP for almost a month; when I received it, it was reading acceptable, but once I performed the calibration days later, the phosphate started reading 0 inclusive when I had a phosphate spike a few days later, so this is what I did yesterday.
1 factory defaults
2 resets trident
and don’t test manually.

Keep in mind that the reagents will reset to 100%.

This morning, which my test is scheduled for at 5am, the phosphate was accurate with my hanna (for the first time).

It likely won’t last. Mine was dead accurate for 2 weeks and then started trailing off to 0. Same for many people I know with them.

That said BRS did send me labels to return them for a full refund for “defective” products.

So what do i do first? Reset? Or factory reset?

Looks like mines trailing to zero. I am currently showing .07 on hanna and now .03 on the trident. Not terrible but not great. I have not run the calibration yet its still on the factory cal

I think they can afford to give some away these things are going for over $700. If you have the money to blow good for you but that’s insane amount of money to just test nitrates and phosphates. Good ole Hanna checker once a week will do the job

But it’s so much easier using the NP and it test every day for you and you don’t do nothing
