Lost mine last week to ich.... was eating great looked beautiful 2 weeks in... then covered in spots and gone in 36 hours...

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve never had issues with Lion fish and Disease, but I’m also not trying to take any chances. I had my last Lion a fuzzy Dwarf for about 2 years, and just threw him straight into my DT lol.
This little guy will certainly be in QT a couple more weeks. Hope y’all having a good Sunday!

What’s up R2Fam!
Quick little update,
Tank has been goin thru some uglies, also some of the mushrooms have been noticeably bothered by something for about the last month, so I started my search for the culprit.
Turns out my Glass thermometer cracked at the very tippy tip, it’s mostly likely the issue (fingers crossed) now starts the clean up process, I will start with doing a series of water changes, while at the same time siphoning out any beads that fell out the bottom of the thermometer. Hope this solves the issue, and my shroom garden gets back on track.
I also purchased a wave pump, trying to get some flow going to stir up some detritus.

Thanks my man! Trying to keep this thing on cruise control. Earl is a beast in this tank, nothing seems to bother it.

quick little update on this baby, did a water change today after going a little over 3 months without one, hair algae Has been mostly defeated, I think partial due to some macro algae @LA Reef Addict was kind enough to hook me up with, Thanks bro! Coral seem to be looking decent, with the exception of a couple of torches.
