I normally like simplistic things as well, but with watches I’ve always been fascinated with how they work. My Citizens constantly recharge themselves using light, (if only my car did that am I right) and my Bulova winds itself using motion.

I have a Bulova Precisionist... absolutely no tick, at all. It's amazing. I forgot to put it on tonight, I'll get a picture later when I'm home.

That’s awesome! Plus, what a huge advantage. Instead of letting a bunch of different strains compete for space, you can pick what color you want and spread it everywhere so it dominates.

I've had a number of self-winding watches. I presently have an Omega that is a self-winder.
