I keep meaning to get mine. Took the class a couple times, but paying the state for the right to protect myself seems somewhat unamerican.
NC is permitless open carry... we keep trying here in SC but dumb stuff keeps happening. Maybe it'll pass in 2020.

Oh, I know :)

it seems unbelievable that the first state to secede would be struggling that hard with a basic constitutional right. How has that not been challenged in court?!

First time the House or Senate(cant remember which side) committee was headed up by a particular congressman from Pickens who was absolutely against it(and guns period). He got voted out I believe tho. The second time it had a LOT of traction, then some redneck yahoo threated a senator over not passing it and the chairman killed the bill for the year, even tho he supported it.

Like I said, hopefully our Constitutional carry passes next year. It's gotten a lot of public and state house support the past two years.

Oh, and SC and NC have a long history of succeeding and bucking authority.

Pfew, I was absent all day, because today was our Christmas. I had to catch up on 20 pages, lol!

Okay, this was 10 pages ago, but still within 24 hours. My longest standing Christmas tradition is watching this every Christmas Eve since I was 7 years old. My kids now watch it with me on DVD every year. Now you can join in the fun too Katrina :)

Second this, and add Muppet Christmas Carol. All things Muppet. Brian, as a fellow musician, if you haven’t seen it, check out Muppet Musicians of Bremen.

I am not skilled in anything. I have to rely on the brilliance of others.

After reading this thread, I would strongly disagree about not skilled in anything. Your parenting alone is top-notch! Not to mention, most of the top business leaders in the world believe that one of their most important skills is surrounding themselves with talented people, and setting them up to use their skill-sets. While this thread has a number of amazing contributors, it has all coalesced around you.
