For about 250 years nowFirst time the House or Senate(cant remember which side) committee was headed up by a particular congressman from Pickens who was absolutely against it(and guns period). He got voted out I believe tho. The second time it had a LOT of traction, then some redneck yahoo threated a senator over not passing it and the chairman killed the bill for the year, even tho he supported it.
Like I said, hopefully our Constitutional carry passes next year. It's gotten a lot of public and state house support the past two years.
Oh, and SC and NC have a long history of succeeding and bucking authority.
that needs to be fixed immediately though. If you wanted to run for office in any capacity, the people of SC would be better off imo.
