Hey reefing friends! I made an investment today and got a sebae anemone for my clownfish tank! Would love your thoughts/input. Is there anything I need to do to help the potential for hosting along? I know the water is a little cloudy ATM from giving the anemone a rock to try to attach to! Thanks for the help/advice.

Congratulations! How long has your tank been setup? One of the best things that you can do at this point is to shoot for water stability and keep the anemone healthy. The clowns will usually find their way on to the anemone, but realize that with clowns very few things are guaranteed. Good luck!

Tanks been up a couple of years! After I put the Nem in and it stuck to the rock I had set in (I know it could move) I fed and that brought the clowns out of hiding and they were getting close to it, so we shall see!

Sounds good! Unfortunately many anemones struggle when the are introduced to new tanks where the system is still going through the "uglies" and the tank parameters haven't stabilized, but it sounds like you are on track. The fish showing an interest is also a good sign!

Yeah, I mean I guess time will only tell! I was going to consider feeding clams as I understand they can do multiple things? Mysis, reef Roids etc!
