Oh wow.
I mixed Pristine with all for reef and was hoping for the same effect but I certainly was not getting that.
That's a teaspoon of Calcium Carbonate and 10 ml of Microbacter 7.

I’m back and well some good news some bad.
The bad is my big goniopora is looking worse and the cyano came back just as bad. I know I need to be patient with the cyano but it is disheartening.

The good is that every other coral looks happy. That includes the new goniopora (though that is feeling like an even worse decision now). I also got myself a Hanna HR nitrate meter finally and well more corals because I can’t resist.

Have you tried the DIY coral snow recipe yet for your cyano? Stuff is amazing! I don't even add the MB7 just use the calcium carbonate RODI mixture and haven't seen cyano in my tank in a long time. It even clogs up vermetid snail tubes as a bonus!

Sometimes. Mine doesn't seem to work on Vermetid but I've heard lots of people say the same.

Fine fine you convinced me and I just ordered some calcium carbonate :face-with-tears-of-joy: . Also I was literally just watching a tidal gardens video about vermetid snails that suggested coral snow

Like @tbrown3589 said it won't clog them for everyone. I have the small tubed vermetid if you have the large tubed ones I'm not sure it'll do anything for those. Between the coral snow and my bumble bee snails I don't see vermetid webs anymore.

I'm not that bothered by vermetids. I have a few and been stabbed a few times though. It would be a nice bonus but not a need.

Twistii for $45? That's half of what they are here. Good torch prices.

How do those prices tranlate to usd? Or is that usd price?
That is USD and my LFS does generally have the best fish prices around. They are a dangerous enabler.
Good torch prices.
Thanks. I was tempted but Im glad I resisted with my current tank issues.
Mines still prettier ;)
Nothing some good TLC couldn't change! I woulkd like a bigger one though. Bit too small for the big tank.

Come on, you need to grow them from juvies, the transitioning phase is the best part of any Pomacanthus species ;)
