Not often you find another loadmaster..im a c130 load. Might go C17s if I swap bases

Do you throw things out of the c130 or just load/unload on the ground?

Recently had a c130 that rolled into a ditch.
Other than that, been replacing centre wing section on c130s.

Need a few tracks to play down near you? I’m working up a list of courses within a few hours or so to go play. Mostly public, but some private ones. We are blessed some amazing golf right here in Columbus Ohio. PGA tournament course(s) as well as 2 of the most difficult and exclusive clubs in The country. I think at one time we had like 4 courses that ranked in top 25-50 in the country right here in central Ohio.

can you name a few good places to play by you?

Of course Corey!
The 2 best courses in Wheeling are at the Speidel golf club in Ogebay Park, the Robert Trent Jones course which is my home course and the university’s and the Palmer course. Both designed by them, well Jones was finished by his son as he passed during the process.

The jones course is the hardest course around, lots of OB it’s all hills and no flat lies a good amount of trees and water. Extremely challenging greens, I know a lot of people who hate the bunkers but I personally don’t think the bunkers are too hard but there’s a few fairway bunkers placed perfectly in the 250-260yd range.

The Palmer course is the nicer and more interesting designed course with more Picture holes. The reason why more people don’t play it is because 1. It’s always packed normally with the old men golfers and 2. You have to take a cart because there’s probably a mile of cart path in the woods that goes through a development then you go back through for the last few holes. It’s the easier course but still challenging in its own ways. It’s more open too unlike Jones where you gotta be able to shape your shots. Both are worth a play though!

another course I really enjoy is Moundsville Country Club which is in the county below. They normally have a special running for $30-$40 a round. It’s just a small little town but it’s right on the Ohio River links style and flat. Beautiful soft greens and very well taken care of. It’s a local treasure and Very special. It’s still my best scoring course and a enjoyable play even when not on your A game.

Wheeling Country Club is very Eh, they run specials as well not sure what they run maybe $60. There’s a group of good golfers who swear by WCC but a large amount of locals are not fans. It’s on the tough side, hills lots of trees and fast greens. Quality isn’t there not the best taken care of course wise and WCC cares more about the pool and tennis courts and all the big shots in town then the golf aspect. It’s that kinda club which is why they are hurting. Everyone drives down to go Moundsville CC it’s a small club no pool or anything just a nice course with a range and a old school clubhouse and tiny golf shop. Roy Shreves the retired pro who I take lessons from put the place on the map with Sam Sneed.

Theres a few other tracks that are great but definitely a drive for you.

Yeah I come down and play OB a few times a year. Maybe I'll check out the other course. With all the local tournaments and US Open qualifiers being canceled I'll have more time to play new tracks! Haha
Headed over near Tim's (@aquavista99 ) this Thursday to play a course I hear a ton of good things about.

I'm a Senior Product Manager for a medical device company in Minnesota. I love it, as I have the opportunity to travel the world building relationships with our customers. Last year alone I traveled to 17 countries and 38 cities, which was a lot, but worth it.

Until we decided to relocate and I became a full time SAHD, I was running an Ivy League gene therapy and vaccine lab, specializing in using viral vectors to deliver fixed copies of dysfunctional genes to patients. 22 years as a virologist, 4 running my own gig. Internal politics and an inability to suffer fools and nepotism lightly conspired to keep my ultimate career goal out of reach

sahd for 3 years now- scientific research was a breeze in comparison

I am always interested in people career choice. I am wondering how many here are actually in the field we love, fishes.

I am a claims adjuster. I have been a manager, supervisor, and adjuster for 20+ years. It is constant source of conflict and stress.

What do you folks do and how do you like it?

(Anyone have a job for me in NC?):)
I am a college student

Strategic communications for the Department of Veterans Affairs (OEF veteran myself). Best job I've ever had. Why don't you apply for a job in NC with VA?
