Proud LONGSHORE MECHANIC working in LONG BEACH CA. Lucky and fortunate enough to be able to breath and the smell ocean at work and at home thanks to my tank.

Don’t laugh but I have to ask. I have alway wanted to know what the part about longshoremen is? I never really knew what it describes . I would rather hear first hand then read a definition.

I am also still wondering what exactly a road scholar is if anyone knows.

I’m a grease monkey... aka auto mechanic/technician.

great job most of the times, sometimes I wish I kept it as a hobby. But then again the money saved from car repairs, I can spend on coral :p

Aero engineer by training, position is called liaison engineer.
Work designing repairs for aircraft.
Specialise in all the classic boeing models (so not the 787).
Also do a lot of modification work which means that I've seen damages and problems that your average maintenance engineer doesn't get to see...

Surprisingly I'm still happy to fly... Most of the time

Oh yeah i haven't done any of that

This is the kind of damage I specialize in repairing

When the guys with Ray bans and large watches make a mistake they call me in to help...

These are all damages I've personally worked on and not just photos I've found on the web.

proud union carpenter on the management side of it. Funny thing about my career is as long as I’m on the management side of it I love it I like the challenge and the stress with everything being on my shoulders. If I’m just a carpenter out there building I can’t stand it. Been doing this now for 15 years now. But right now I’m isolated for preexisting health concerns so ya buddy enjoying time off
