Six line wrasse. Little devils for real. Never ever ever again
I have always had 6 lines and have 1 in my 180, never had a problem. What did you experience if you don't mine me asking?

I also have a couple of 6 Lines. I think they are spawning but I never found them a problem and have been keeping them for decades.

Sixlines can be very territorial especially towards other wrasse. In the wild they claim prime reef real-estate and protect it violently. Sometimes they do the same in reef tanks. Sometimes they don’t.

Bullied both my clowns to death. Scared my helfrichi firefish and made him carpet surf lol. I just had a bad one I guess. He was also the last fish I introduced to the system.

Normally, we talked about the fish we would love to have in our tanks, but what about the ones we don't want? I am wondering what is the one fish you will never have in your tank, and why. Photo Credit: ssunthar

Here is my list that was developed from strictly a hardiness/poor survivorship point of view:

https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/marine-fish-and-invertebrates-to-avoid.939/

There are lots of other fish that are hardy, but that I won't acquire because they have some attribute that I don't want in my tank; velvet damsels, engineer gobies, fish that grow too large. etc.

Any sand sifting goby...you can never have a sand dwelling coral again...

Bonus: batfish, why people get these when they're a "cute" baby but grow into these ugly monstrosities I'll never understand...

No kidding about the coral part; my goby is always kicking up sand near some of my frags, haha
