Coral banded shrimp. Killed all my other shrimp and crabs
Bullseye pistol shrimp, they won’t pair with gobies, and kill other pistol shrimp that will pair with gobies!

Long spine urchin. It was tiny when I bought it but grew rather quickly. It knocks over everything. I've also been poked several times by not paying attention when working in the tank.

Would be my urchin....lots of fun watching it wearing shells or hats I had made for it...but hated how it would move frags or knock things over.
It lives in the sump now....but it it gorges on my chaeto. I want to trade it in at the lfs...but i know my daughter will get made at me...and who wants to make an 8 year old mad?! Lol.

Hermits. One of the most pointless things we can add to our tanks. They don’t do much, they eat snails, and just an overall waste of money.

I love my conch, but I don't think I'll be getting hermits again. Mines an absolute killing machine, he knocks over frags, took a Tronchus and couldn't up himself. I mean they're cool to watch and all but I'd rather get snails, they're more gentle and can actually get on the glass as well.

We just got an urchin in our tank, hasn't knocked anything over just yet (except our mushroom frag)

Margarita snails. they may do good algae control but fall off the rock and glass constantly and can't right themselves.

They are a cold water snail, I put some in a 55 degree salt tank and they lived like 8 years, no falling.

The warmer temps just seem to eventually kill them off. Probably something that shouldn't be collected and offered for sale.

Arrow crab... saw one at the LFS eating a fish and holding it by the tail and eating the head like it was corndog... even if the first died fist, no way I would trust this guy..

I used them to help feed an octopus snacks. so cold water was already in the tank.

Weird, I never had to flip mine but I used rocks similar to the pacific. Smooth dense stone so maybe they can grip it better or something.

Trochus snails. Every one climbed out of the tank. My dog would hear them hit the floor and grab them. I ended up with shells scattered around the house. Maybe on a rimmed tank but not on a rimless.

EDIT : Not a big fan of hermits either. When they aren't trying to kill each other they're killing snails.

Urchins. No frag is safe! Have had so many frags literally pulled out off the rack and knocked over. Had one walk off with my JF homewrecker on a 3” disk.
