Twice I have used Rod's Original food and twice it has burned me?

My local fish store does not carry LRS, they recommend Rod's as an alternative. . .

First time I fed Rod's I noticed a cyano outbreak and some other uglies so I stopped using it. . .

I thought, maybe I didn't give it a fair shake so, I bought a new batch and tried again. . . more uglies!

I know I know, fool me twice.

Anyway this is just an anecdote but was wondering what your experience with Rod's has been???

I haven't tried Rods, however, frozen foods are known for high Phosphate and sometimes bacteria. This may be a case of some have more than others.

Have you tried rinsing the food before feeding? That may help.

Also, watch and see if there is just some part of it that the fish aren't eating. That's another possibility.
