Alright one teaser before I go home... spied these Nirvana palys from my man Richard at Leon's Lagoon. He had everything for $25, with a few sleepers mixed in. I saw a sleeper. Normally these sell for $50 a polyp. There are 4 polyps.

Just got home. Tank is looking great after yesterday's sump maintenance. That trumpet... it's my water change indicator. When its not fully inflated, do a water change. I also think I need to move it down some and into less flow. It's getting blasted with maybe 250-300 PAR right now and medium flow.

First up. Lemonade! Well, that's what it looks like. Pods, rotifers, brine, phyto... $10 for the bag. Fishy Buisness was selling it and phyto. They've been culturing them in house. I dumped the bag into the sump. Takes care of my black leopard and I dont have to order pods.

Speaking of pods. I spoke with a guy at the AlgaGen tabke, and they are coming out with a new system that is supposed to culture and dose pods to your tank. He described it as similar to an IV dripper in the way it dosed... seemed interested so I gave them my email for updates.

Next... got coral? Just a couple bags. I think I may have an addiction. At least it's not drugs.

First up, red monti cap. I didn't buy this one. My friend brought it to me to make sure montis were ok. It's the same one I had when we first set up the tank but lost in the big crack. Probably just end up being a trade for the Smart Micro ATO pump I brought her. This thing grows like wildfire. Its midway of the tank, under the right Kessil, should be 300-350 PAR with all the lights are on. I'm guessing 250-300 under all blue. Should grow well there.

Alright, the feature film, main event, what you've all been waiting for.

From Leon's Lagoon, Nirvana zoa/palys. I've heard them called palys but they look like zoas to me.

From Spike's Corals. JF Slow Burn monti. End of the show, great deal, couldn't pass it up. Hopefully the MENs are gone. I dont think any could get past the black leopard anyway.

From my man Joey at Joe Knows Reefs. A bunch. Uhh, Hollywood Stunner chalice, purple blasto, war coral, some kind of noname favia that looks like a reverse dragon soul, and another favia that I forgot the name of.

From the new kids on the block, just started up out of Myrtle Beach, Jamrock corals. Had some really nice stuff. I picked up one of the Aurora acans he had.

And from Jason Fox himself... some micro acans he collected in Darwin, and a JF Jack-o-lantern Leptoseris.

Fed the fish, a few of the new corals liked it. Actually, feeders is what made me buy the acan from Jason Fox. The war coral even has a few feeders out... or maybe those are the beginning of sweepers... might have to keep an eye on those.

Nice weekend catch.
I would love to see that Aurora acan in none blues. That looks stunning.

60% color on the Kessils with the Actinic T5s... not fully open either. I'll have a better picture under "whites" tomorrow. That's pretty white tho, check out the frag plug.
