How strong is the flow, what are the 2 powerheads?
2 Jebao SW-4 power heads pointed at either side of the rocks. They are rated at 500-4000L/H. If Google is right that's 132-1056gph. Both are turned all the way up. The left one is on a pulse mode "W1", and the right one is on a random mode called "Else."

Coral box is fixing to come out with a new pump called the reverse nano... watched a review on it last night. I think I may pick one up when they are available.

The return pump is a Sicce 3.0 AC pump. It's about 700gph minus head and whatever the reactor is using. Theres enough flow from it to make this hole in the 3" sand and the return nozzle is aimed at the surface.

Day three chaeto reactor update: GROWTH!

Yep, that's right. The chaeto is growing. It's not explosive or anything, but it's halfway up to the next wrap on the lights.

Here's a little side by side from day one to day three.

New fishy is here! He's a ruby long fin fairy wrasse. The multicolor showed him the best hiding spot and then left him alone. They seem to be getting along just fine. The damsel on the other hand, we'll see how territorial it gets.

Went by the local reef store looking for a cyphastrea for the Menagerie... couldnt help but drool over all these acros. Wild colonies they are growing out and coloring up. Sigh... maybe one day we'll stop killing acros.

We picked up some blue hornets for the Deep Blue Sea tho. Stocking two tanks is going to bankrupt me. Lol... the zoas selection is very nice. That's just one of several racks of zoas and pallys.

So here's the blue hornets. Two polyps good size polyps. One is open in the bag.

The wrasse are getting along great with each other. No aggression and they swim together, the damsel is prejudice against wrasse tho. We're probably going to be rehomeing him with a local reefer that wants it for a frag tank. I really want a picture of him with his fins out, I may have to get a video later.

I find my fairy wrasse to be the most social fish I have. He gets along swimmingly with everyone except my Saphire Damsels. Even when I had new additions being harrased by everyone in the tank the Fairy would buddy up to the newbie and kinda be the wingman. It was cool to see. Damsels are just too darn territorial i think. I cant catch em or they'd have been gone long ago.

I'm gonna try a fish trap... sapphire damsels were supposed to be peaceful and a great community fish... get a sapphire damsel they said, they're peaceful they said....

It's terrorizing both of my fairy wrasse. It's getting rehomed.

That being said, the tank looks much more like a reef with the movement of the two wrasse. I've always loved the color and movement of a tank full of wrasse. Who needs tangs...
