Table saw and hand router is all that’s needed.. pretty simple.. I mean you could do the whole thing with just a router but a table saw or panel saw saves a lot of time cutting the square or rectangle to size..

It’s all good! No bosses and I can finish my top off! All 25 gallons of it haha! Just gotta route it flush and polish it out and it’s ready for service..

There’s plenty of companies that do them.. top lids would be my choice if I was to buy one thou. They are well built and better than kracken or that other one I forgot it’s name..

Yeah there are plenty of options and I’ve kind of looked around somewhat. I will admit for my size……I was shocked at how expensive they are. Not my specific size, it based on similar or smaller sizes. Hahaha

3/8” sheet of lexan “poly carbonate” is $400 alone.. 4x8 so you can see why the price is high.. it can get crazy thou! Glad I can do what I do and save myself a ton of money lol..

Got the top off installed and operational… I’m gonna put some sliders under it in the next couple days to make it easier to fill

up.. it will sit on a shelf and pull out.. until then I’m not gonna fill it all the way up and wait 10 days to drain it lol.. I also gotta put the lid on it.. I made it but not sure if I wanna hinge it or not permanently till I can pull it out and fill it up easy..

Top off done and works like a champ! Gotta make more water now lol.. didn’t even have enough to fill this up… 4 sliders with a mdf shelf and laminated with my pre coat aluminum and wala!
