Well, I’ll only do my top 5 from each genus ;)
and just for help let’s go aphabetically through each genus.
Anampses neoguinaicus
Anampses twistii
Anampses caeruleopunctatus
Anampses lineatus
Anampses chrycosephalus (Boo Hawaii)
Cirrhilabrus shutmani
Cirrhilabrus isosceles
Cirrhilabrus lubbocki
Cirrhilabrus nahackyi
Cirrhilabrus naokoae
Halichoeres iridis
Halichoeres rubricephallus
Halichoeres biocellatus
Halichoeres melasmopomus
Halichoeres argus
Macropharyngodon marisrubri
Macropharyngodon negrosensis
Macropharyngodon kuiteri
Macropharyngodon choati
Macropharyngodon meleagris
Paracheilinus cyaneus
Paracheilinus attenuatus
Paracheilinus rubricaudalis
Paracheilinus alfiani
Paracheilinus lineopunctatus
Pseudojuloides atavai
Pseudojuloides labrynthus
Pseudojuloides edwardi
Pseudojuloides crux
Pseudojuloides pluto

Xenojulis margaritaceus

And what you’ve likely learnt is… My actual wrasse gang is cheap but my dream 8’ tank is likely to be worth 100000000s (especially as these are just the top 5 of each genus).

Its funny, I got a job in my LFS and my first thought was ‘Label everything that was incorrect or take down labels that aren’t there’ what I didn’t know is how many common names I don’t know compared to scientifics. My phone went from 100% to 70% rather fast doing that.

Soooooo…. All I wanted was a ph probe and now I’m getting some apex thingy  One came up for sale and the entire local club tagged me and spent my money for me! Don’t you just love that?:rolling-on-the-floor-laughing::rolling-on-the-floor-laughing::rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: Now I gotta learn how to use this dumb thing.. haha… I’m old skool never had nor cared to have a controller… I was happy with pinpoint probe years ago… I mean I still use a plastic hydrometer for my salinity! Is it correct? I dunno but I can tell you it’s consistently right or wrong lol…

I am like you, skip controllers and use hydrometers. I did take my hydrometer to a lfs and compared to their refractometer. It was close. Hooray for old school.

Not much to update besides my new Apex is garbage and my little yella corris didn’t make it through the weekend… rip buddy :frowning-face: Not sure what I wanna do going forward and adding any more fish lol… I see things have changed a lot over the last 12 years since I bought new fish… my last tank it was always acros the touchy thing and everything else thrived! This tank everything is growing like crazy with zero problems but the fish are having a hard time… rrrrr. Lol finally had yesterday off so I did a little Maintence and got my pool cleaned and went grocery shopping… back to the work grind..0:expressionless-face:
