also the cat litter scooper page wasnt working right what it the width of the scooper? i have a lot of rock covering the bottom so it might be too big...

Maybe something like this if you can't find a small enough pooper scooper. I would cut the handle off it and then mount it to the rod. Or, maybe just use the spoon itself.
