If I know the corals need, I'll try to accommodate. But I'm not amazing at that. I put them where I think they fit, then dislike it for a while till I ask for help or it dies.TANK TALK: Coral placement... How do you decide where to put a new coral in your reef? Is it based strictly on the coral's needs, is it about how it looks, a bit of both (how do you balance that)?
admittedly most of my coral lives on the sandbed for a long time because I HATE gluing stuff. I also have commitment issues. I dont keep Acros so its not really a problem.TANK TALK: Coral placement... How do you decide where to put a new coral in your reef? While I dont have coral yet. The placement I would use is Needs first then looks. I Think the balance comes in with what kind of scape you create in your tank.TANK TALK: Coral placement... Mine is patience. Ivused to be quick to judge or rush into things. After some failures in reefing, I was forced to learn patience. It has helped a lot with my tanks, but also my relationships with others. Empathy has also drastically improved.TANK TALK: Share a lesson you've learned from your reef tank that applies to life outside the aquarium. It could be patience, resilience, or the importance of balance. Comment with your reef-inspired life lesson for entry into the giveaway
I make it more about how visible it is, I want them to look good where it is, while also having its needs being met.TANK TALK: Coral placement...
