Thank you! I checked today when I cleaned the wp and it appears to have the same magnet setup as the one that goes in the tank so no rusting at all.

Well today I finally got the new light hung the thing is a beast super heavy. I am also going to need to build another cabinet to house the controller it's huge! Took a pic near a dollar cause that is all I had left






I did a quick program with everything about halfway up looks pretty good. I definitely need some practice and learning on the programming.

Super nice although I have not had a lot of time to mess with it. I like having one cord just gotta find a place for the controller. I have been wanting to build a small cabinet next to the stand to keep the topoff and two part containers guess the controller will give me a reason to go ahead and do it.

Thanks that lobo is a bit of a sore subject for me. I picked it up from a popular vendor on the site and it didn't look anything like the picture I was given I mean nothing like it. Thankfully it is still pretty cool!

One thing I can say I don't like about the light is having to hook up the cpu every time I want to change something. For instance when taking pics I dont like to have the leds running, before I could flip a switch on the apex and cut them off.

I wonder if they have in the plans a wireless adapter that will sync with Ann app to quickly control things that would be sweet!

If the intensity with my profile is higher, then just lower it a bit if required. Or just use your own profile.

Now that you have the extra LED channels, what is your T5 combo?

I have this combo and I love it, looks like the Phoenix 14K Halide:

Front:

Blue+
Blue+
Giesemann Lagoon Blue (a very white tube, not yellow looking)
Blue+

ATI Purple+
Blue+
ATI Coral+
Blue+

Yeah, that is quite annoying. I bought a 5 meter USB extension cable...and my laptop is always switched on as someone or other is using it, so for me, it a matter of a few seconds to connect the cable to the Laptop.

Around 1-2pm I think is when my T5's are on, along with the White, Blue, Royals etc...and I like this look for taking pics, so with just a few button presses, I just change the TIME on the Controller to 2pm and snap away. Just change back afterwards.

Annoying either way...at the moment ATI have no intention to release a WIFI adaptor/Apex connection...on RC on that big ATI thread, we have asked for this. I know the main ATI guy reads that thread...so maybe make a request there. If more people ask, they might release one.

How is the tank doing with the new lights? Any problems with too much PAR? My corals are colouring up nicely. Still some way to go but all is heading in the right direction.

Hey man tank is good. Pulling all the acros this week and placing in qt. Got some bryopsis I am trying to deal with. Acros will be going through 8 weeks of dips want to eliminate any possibility of aefw I have yet to see any signs just want to be sure. Any new ones will go through the same will make me feel better at the end of the day.

Love the light still have not had a lot of time to mess with it though. I am super happy with my bulb combo for sure just need to tweak the leds a bit.

Well I moved my sps back to the main tank today. I sure hope it was enough to rid the aefw for good. I did 9 dips and 8 weeks in qt. Got a few pics if you are interested.
