Yup about 11, small water changes doesn't hurt much, I keep my display about 8.6

I would definitely have to correct it if I ever had to do a large WC.
Maybe I should edit this before I get smacked by the scientist

I have been using the aqua forest sea salt mix instead of reef as i did not want any extra :
  • Enriched with amino acids and Vitamin C
I did not want any extra diatoms to form from amino acids.

@billyocean . If I were to get the 2 quanta led for my 180, hubby is not going to be able to redo the mounting for a long while. Kessil is on sale. Another option is I can get a 5th one and link it up to my existing 4. Your thoughts?

This is AF reef. RC reads similar other than Alk at 13.

I am considering the change based on the crud build up in the mixing station with RC.
Those AF reef numbers look good and the price for the 200-gallon bag is significantly less than what I'm paying now for salt. The ICP of this saltmix looks good. I may give it a shot too

Well yeah. I do when it's something I regularly use. Why not, it certainly save me $$.
I decided, I'm going to try it. Parameters look extremely good, its ICP tested and almost 50% less expensive than the ESV I use. Half off is a huge savings, compared to ESV. Can anybody who uses AF reef confirm that it mixes clean? My mixing container has no residue whatsoever using the ESV Saltmix.

Especially even more when she's about to lay eggs
I acted over dramatic when she done it, my oldest daughter ran to get the net. LOL

"Lightning" was more charging and bumping me, I didn't actually feel any bites, but I'm sure it's coming.
