Well vendors do make some interesting mistakes. I got a Harlequin Shrimp from Salty Underground a few years back. Even when I gave it starfish to eat it disappeared/died about 8 months later. But it was definitely the coolest accidental freebie I ever got. Couldn’t risk it now with the 2 wrasses in the tank.

I buy the 200g bag. They're really thick bag. A little bit cheaper and you get a little more. When I use it, I just pour the entire bag into my salt bucket

Morning everyone. Just got my first Black Friday order from BRS. Lol! Let’s just say that 2/3 of the order was correct. Got some interesting stuff. Instead of a 7 stage RO-DI filter kit, I got Xmas toys and bulkhead fittings. Toys come with paint brushes, so I’m pretty excited.

Called BRS and they had a big laugh as well. New RO-Di kit going out today express Mail. Excellent customer service. Can’t wait to play with my Shark Tooth Kits.

I switched from Red sea blue bucket to AF reef where the parameters are very close. I haven't seen any ill effects

i switched to reef crystals for a hot minute after i ran out of aqua forest and it screwed all my stuff up, particularly the Alk

Keep an eye on the mixing instructions. So.e require a longer 'resting time' and some are ready in just hours.

Got my two new clowns from Dr Reef today. Both look great. Took about a hour to salinity acclimate them. Dr Reef ships them at 31.5 ppt. Just moved them to the tank. They will stay in the box for a few hours to get their stink in the tank. Hopefully the big tangs and angels won’t mind new guys in their domain. Going try and funnel them to my big hammer and see if they like it. One is a little larger than the other, so maybe they will figure out quickly who gets to be the female.

Yup about 11, small water changes doesn't hurt much, I keep my display about 8.6

I would definitely have to correct it if I ever had to do a large WC.
