Some will tell you that the coral will start to send out shoots faster when they are on a pedestal like this. Eventually the coral does grow down the plug and encrust the rock.They don’t fit some of my new shelves plug holes. And these frags so encrusted I can’t get them off. And the frag shelf is like a resin and it feels like glass inside.
Might have to dremel and sand the plug stem a bit.
Will stuff like this encrust over and make it to the shelf?
