Nice! We looked at a Pursuit 2870 also. But we're further south, we usually go out of Jacksonville or St augustine Florida
aww i saw that black drum and was hoping u were out of Delaware or south jersey. thats alot of hp for that cobia.

dang. I used to go out blue fishing on the ms. Barnegat light when i was a tike.
I run a sailfish 2360 on both coasts.

Not a one. The last 26" I caught didn't have any either. I think we just got lucky, but haven't had any issues with em.

Honestly, between the payment, insurance, gas, maintenance, bait, tackle, etc. Between my buddy and I we would bassically be able to do a week long vacation/fishing excursion to any fishing destination short of hawaii a few times a year. The southeast florida fishery is so trash, ive flirted with that idea alot.

That said, i only have a 2 mile run to be on palagics or bottom fish. West coast florida is like up there and most places - 40-60 miles. I can finish work at 5 andnstill fish 3.5hrs before dark on $20.
